It is amazing to me how many things contain salt, sugar, and other additives that really do not need to. I have started making my own taco seasoning to help cut out the junk we do not need to be eating.

Homemade Taco Seasoning

Serves: ¼ c. serving size, makes 12-13 servings      Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
  • 5 c. Chili powder
  • 3/4 c. tbsp. Cumin
  • 6 tbsp. Paprika
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp. Mexican Oregano
  • 2 tbsp. Black pepper
Steps
  1. Mix all  ingredients together
  2. Store in a re-used large seasoning container or a mason jar
