THIS PROMOTION IS VALID ONLY IN THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING ALASKA AND HAWAII) AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.

BY ENTERING OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. THIS CONTRACT REQUIRES YOU TO INDEMNIFY AND TO RELEASE ALL CLAIMS AGAINST THE PROMOTION ENTITIES (AS DEFINED BELOW). BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU ARE AGREEING TO MANDATORY, BINDING ARBITRATION WITH NO CLASS RELIEF, AND TO A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU MAY RECOVER.
ELIGIBILITY
The The Mountain Project “Elevation Giveaway” (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the contiguous forty-eight (48) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry and who are legally eligible to possess and own a firearm under applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Entrants must be able to successfully pass a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) NICS background check and must comply with all federal, state, and local requirements for lawful firearm ownership.
Employees of The Mountain Project LLC (the “Sponsor”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion partners, and internet agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, and agents (collectively, "Promotion Entities"), and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and grandparent) and/or those living in the same household, are not eligible.
Promotion is void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion begins at 12:00:00 AM Arizona Time (“MST”) on October 15, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 PM Arizona Time on November 11, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Promotion.
The winner will be drawn on or about November 14, 2025, to allow for mail-in entries to be received and processed.
HOW TO ENTER
1. ENTRY VIA AN ONLINE PURCHASE
Entrant’s online consent to participate in the Promotion is required to enter via an online purchase. Internet access required.
During the Promotion Period, eligible entrants will receive one (1) entry for every $1 spent on eligible purchases of The Mountain Project merchandise/product items made online at themtnproject.com (the “Website”).
The number of entries you receive will be based on the list price of your eligible purchase (excluding discounts, sales tax, and shipping charges) and will be rounded up to the next $1 increment. If a purchase is returned prior to the drawing, entries associated with that purchase will be voided.
Purchasers of gift cards will receive one (1) entry for every $1 spent, based on the face value amount of the gift card purchased (e.g., a $50 gift card = 50 entries). Purchases made using a gift card are not eligible to receive entries; however, a purchase that exceeds the gift card value will be eligible to receive entries based on the remaining balance due after the gift card is applied (e.g., a $100 eligible purchase using a $50 gift card will garner 50 entries).
All purchases are subject to Sponsor’s return policy. Your purchase transaction must be received by 11:59:59 PM MST on November 11, 2025, and must include your consent to be entered to be eligible to receive entries via purchase in this Promotion.
No limit on the number of entries received with a purchase and entrant’s consent.
During the Promotion Period, entrant will also have the opportunity to opt-in to receive further email communications from the Sponsor. Entrants are not required to opt-in for this service to participate in this Promotion, and opting-in will not increase chances of winning.
2. FREE ENTRY (NO PURCHASE REQUIRED)
To enter without making a purchase, you may submit a free entry during the Promotion Period by one of the following methods:

Failure to follow instructions exactly will void your entry.
Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 11, 2025 and received by November 13, 2025 to be eligible. Each mail-in entry must be mailed separately.
B. Online Free Entry Form:
Alternatively, complete the online form available at https://themtnproject.com/elevation-giveaway/ during the Promotion Period. Limit one (1) online free entry per person/email address.
All free entries are treated the same as purchase-based entries and have an equal chance of winning.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
The winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor on or about November 14, 2025, from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, including qualifying mail-in entries.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified via email and/or phone within approximately two (2) business days following the drawing. The potential winner must respond within three (3) days of notification to claim the prize.
Before being declared the official winner, the selected entrant will be required to:
- Provide a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer to which the firearm will be shipped.
- Successfully complete all background check requirements under federal and state law.
- Certify that they are legally permitted to own and possess a firearm under applicable law.
If the selected winner fails to meet these requirements or is determined by any FFL or government authority to be ineligible to receive or possess a firearm, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
PRIZE
One (1) winner will receive a PROOF Research Elevation MTR rifle in 6.5 PRC, with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $3,500 USD.
The rifle will be shipped only to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder designated by the winner. The winner is responsible for:
- Providing the FFL contact information within ten (10) days of notification.
- Paying any applicable FFL transfer fees at their chosen dealer.
- Completing all required background checks and legal paperwork before taking possession.
If the winner fails the required background check or is otherwise prohibited from possessing a firearm, the prize will be forfeited, and no alternative prize or compensation will be provided.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt and/or use of the prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if any fraud, technical failure, or other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Promotion. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or otherwise violating these Official Rules.
All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
RELEASE
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless The Mountain Project LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize.
DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration; and (2) all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees.
